Northern BC 24-hour Crisis and Information Line is a 24-hour crisis and information line serving northern British Columbia.

VictimLinkBC is a toll-free, confidential telephone service available across BC and Yukon 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at 1-800-563-0808. It provides information and referral services to all victims of crime and immediate crisis support to victims of family and sexual violence that is confidential.

Resources

Ending Violence Association of British Columbia works to coordinate and support the work of victim-serving and other anti-violence programs in BC through the provision of issue-based consultation and analysis, resource development, training, research and education. Our work is guided by respect for difference, human dignity and equality.

BC Society of Transition Houses provides support and training to Transition, Second and Third Stage Houses, Safe Homes, PEACE Child & Youth programs and other programs in the Violence Against Women sector. Through research projects, and partnerships we publish and promote Promising Practices for supporting women, youth and children fleeing violence.

The Native Women’s Association of Canada represents Aboriginal women, particularly First Nations and Métis women at the national level. NWAC was founded in 1974 as an aggregate of 13 Aboriginal women’s groups from coast to coast to coast, with the goals of preserving Aboriginal culture, achieving equal opportunity for Aboriginal women, and having a role in shaping legislation relevant to Aboriginal women.

The Northern Society for Domestic Peace is a non-profit multi service social programs agency that aims to help individuals and families strengthen their relationships and enhance the quality of their lives through individual counselling, group workshops, professional training and community outreach programs of support.
